In addition,&nbsp;we&#8217;re&nbsp;offering free access to&nbsp;ClinicalKey, Complete Anatomy, and Osmosis&nbsp;to&nbsp;Ukrainian&nbsp;healthcare students, enabling&nbsp;people&nbsp;to get the information they need right&nbsp;now.&nbsp;This is just a sample of our&nbsp;ongoing&nbsp;tradition&nbsp;to&nbsp;provide&nbsp;tangible help&nbsp;to&nbsp;people&nbsp;and communities&nbsp;in need.&nbsp;And&nbsp;by teaming up with&nbsp;Elsevier and RELX,&nbsp;we can increase our impact around&nbsp;the&nbsp;globe.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bridging_the_gap\"><\/span>Bridging&nbsp;the gap&nbsp;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We&#8217;re&nbsp;happy&nbsp;to&nbsp;share that&nbsp;we\u2019ve&nbsp;made important strides in&nbsp;ensuring&nbsp;our entire team is focused on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.osmosis.org\/blog\/2021\/11\/08\/words-matter-the-power-of-inclusive-language-in-medicine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">using inclusive language<\/a>&nbsp;and imagery in our videos and other content.&nbsp;Additionally,&nbsp;Elsevier continues to focus on improving diversity and representation in healthcare educational content following the release of the world&#8217;s most advanced,\u202f<a href=\"https:\/\/www.elsevier.com\/connect\/tackling-bias-by-rethinking-human-anatomy-education\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fully-female anatomical&nbsp;<\/a>3D model by Complete Anatomy. It now allows users to choose from a broad range of physical features best suited for each program\u2019s educational needs. The design team also took great care when deciding what language to describe various tools in the model, such as avoiding labels for body types as well as removing the idea of a default skin tone.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_launch_of_Osmosis_in_Spanish\"><\/span>The launch of Osmosis in Spanish&nbsp;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With Elsevier&#8217;s resources and&nbsp;expertise, Osmosis has made meaningful progress on a project&nbsp;we&#8217;ve&nbsp;wanted to take on for years \u2013&nbsp;translating&nbsp;(aka&nbsp;localizing)&nbsp;Osmosis in Spanish.&nbsp;That&#8217;s&nbsp;right!&nbsp;We launched a Spanish-language option&nbsp;for select products&nbsp;in October 2022.&nbsp;There\u2019s&nbsp;still&nbsp;work to do,&nbsp;but this is the first step on a long overdue project.&nbsp;Look for more languages to arrive on the Osmosis platform over the next few years.\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Redesigning_our_mobile_app\"><\/span>Redesigning our mobile app&nbsp;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In April, we updated our&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.osmosis.org\/mobile-app\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">mobile app for medicine<\/a>, filling it with new features and making it even easier to navigate and learn. The user interface was completely redesigned, letting learners quickly jump back to where they left off in a lesson. We&#8217;ve made the search easier to use and more effective. We also added several new features, including a daily practice quiz, a &#8220;watch later&#8221; playlist, and of course, the ever-popular High Yield Notes. And don\u2019t worry, we\u2019ve kept features like offline mode and practice questions with detailed explanations. With so many people using their mobile devices to learn on the go or just chillaxing at home, we&#8217;re excited to make their experience more pleasant and powerful.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Keeping_Osmosis_content_up_to_date\"><\/span>Keeping&nbsp;Osmosis&nbsp;content&nbsp;up to date&nbsp;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Osmosis is dedicated to ensuring that the knowledge we offer our learners is timely, relevant, and accurate. To ensure that happens, we\u2019ve completed a quality review, revision, and update of all Osmosis questions in 2022, including foundational sciences, organ systems, and USMLE\u00ae, COMLEX-USA\u00ae, and PANCE\u00ae questions. Even our Quiz Builder tool has been updated to help contextualize learning, reflect an appropriate style and difficulty level for high-stakes board exams, include more inclusive language, and portray diverse patient encounters. We also made a whole new app, one specifically for nursing students. With&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.osmosis.org\/mobile-app-for-nursing-students\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">this new mobile app<\/a>, nursing learners can focus on content specifically relevant to their work. The app also gives nurses access to the new Osmosis library of nursing-specific content, thousands of NCLEX\u00ae-style questions, and detailed answer explanations, including Next-Gen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Expanding_our_nursing_content\"><\/span>Expanding our nursing content&nbsp;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We also&nbsp;now have hundreds of\u202f<a href=\"https:\/\/www.osmosis.org\/blog\/2021\/09\/08\/announcing-the-new-osmosis-library-for-nursing-videos-questions-and-resources-that-help-simplify-nursing-school\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">new nursing videos, questions,<\/a>\u202fand content coverage&nbsp;of&nbsp;courses like Medical-Surgical Nursing, Maternal-Newborn Nursing, and Fundamentals of Nursing. We also have&nbsp;a range&nbsp;of nursing video series aligned with educational standards in the nursing field. For example, our nursing process series (ADPIE)&nbsp;offers&nbsp;a systemic guide to&nbsp;providing&nbsp;client-centered care and developing clinical judgment. Faculty nominations are submitted&nbsp;by&nbsp;students and&nbsp;peers&nbsp;who want to recognize their&nbsp;hard work&nbsp;to&nbsp;consistently&nbsp;&#8220;Raise the Line&#8221; and increase the&nbsp;capacity&nbsp;of healthcare systems worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A big thank you to everyone who&nbsp;submitted&nbsp;a nomination.
