In collaboration with Elsevier&#8217;s exceptional teams, resources, and expertise, we&#8217;ve been able to imagine and do more. Let&#8217;s take a look at some of the highlights!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We launched our new\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.osmosis.org\/clinical-sciences\">Clinical Sciences library<\/a>\u00a0in September, releasing content for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.osmosis.org\/library\/md\/clerkships\/internal-medicine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Internal Medicine<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.osmosis.org\/library\/md\/clerkships\/surgery\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Surgery<\/a>, with OBGYN and Pediatrics content launching in early 2024,\u00a0and Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine, Neurology, and Family Medicine arriving in time for back-to-university in the fall of 2024. Note that a variety of topics are being released as they&#8217;re produced, so\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.osmosis.org\/home\/dashboard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">take a peek now<\/a>!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our nursing content team worked with the Elsevier Nursing Health Education team to curate and develop more than 300 videos to integrate into\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.elsevier.com\/products\/sherpath\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sherpath<\/a>\u00a0and Sherpath Vantage products. (Please note: Sherpath subscribers can access select Osmosis videos, but not all.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We launched Osmosis in Spanish on our web and mobile platforms! Learners can experience the Osmosis site and apps along with video captions and transcripts for our Basic Science videos.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We&#8217;ve integrated select Osmosis content within the Elsevier ClinicalKey Student (CKS) product to enhance the overall educational experience for our learners.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our team was awarded\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pendo.io\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pendo&#8217;s<\/a>\u00a0Customer Experience Award during their\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pendo.io\/pendomonium\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pendomonium<\/a>\u00a0event for providing enhanced customer onboarding\u00a0experiences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We now provide different packages on our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.osmosis.org\/plans\/md\">Plans pages<\/a>\u00a0to better fit our learners\u2019 needs. Expertly scoped for the first-time clinical learner, this new library is designed to help students think clinically from day one to patient one with new, visually engaging videos, clinical decision-making trees, and linked board-style assessment items that cover the core rotations. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout the coming year, the library&#8217;s content will expand from Internal Medicine and Surgery to cover eight specialties and is organized to support a seamless learning progression from the basic sciences to clinical rotations. And this content isn&#8217;t just for medical students! Local experts have curated content across core subject areas to align with the Australian\/New Zealander nursing curriculum, with specialized navigation and curated video playlists. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We&#8217;re also pleased to share that with Elsevier&#8217;s resources and expertise, we&#8217;ve translated Osmosis into Spanish, allowing learners to toggle between languages and making it more accessible to more learners than ever before. Our initial release in late 2022 provided Spanish language options for Learn Page transcripts and captions. Now available on the mobile app as well as the web, translations include titles, navigation, playlists, and questions. In addition to curating Clinical Sciences content for the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.osmosis.org\/plans\/np\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nurse Practitioner product<\/a>, they&#8217;ve helped launch a nursing product tailored for nursing students in Australia-New Zealand, co-hosted ten&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.osmosis.org\/events\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">webinars<\/a>, and added more than 350 new questions to the Osmosis nursing product!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2024, they&#8217;ll produce over one hundred videos, including case study-type videos with NCLEX-style assessment items for the RN product, launch a product tailored for nursing students in the UK, collaborate with the Clinical Sciences team to develop content for the MD, PA, and NP products, and continue to explore content development opportunities across Elsevier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"1024\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.osmosis.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/09\/5.gif?w=1024\" alt=\"Rotating gif of a variety of people holding a chest xray.\" class=\"wp-image-2286\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Empowering_All_Learners\"><\/span>Empowering All Learners<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Being consciously equitable, diverse, and inclusive is essential for better patient care. By incorporating equity, diversity, and inclusion content into the Osmosis platform and blog, we&#8217;re actively working toward creating an environment where everyone feels heard and empowered. In the fall of this year, we welcomed the addition of PA and dental students to the program. We look forward to inviting more health professional students to the Osmosis Health Leadership Initiative or &#8220;OHLI.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our community program aims to grow, engage, and develop a team of student leaders to advance our mission of empowering clinicians and caregivers globally with the best learning experience possible. To that end, in 2023, our community referred 15,000+ colleagues to Osmosis and orchestrated another 330 student-led events at their respective educational institutions, along with student leaders joining live panels and focus groups to share valuable feedback and improve the Osmosis platform.
