Check out the playlist then read on to see what&#8217;s so special about each of these Osmosis videos.<strong>Rishi\u2019s Top 5<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.osmosis.org\/learn\/Hedgehog_signaling_pathway\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Hedgehog Signaling Pathway<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the most amazing things about human life is how we grow from a single cell into a multicellular human being. The elegant solution that evolution has created is summarized in this video. Check out @4:44 to see what I mean\u2014it shows you how each cell gets a sort of \u201caddress\u201d that lets it know exactly where it\u2019s located in the community. Pretty amazing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"640\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.osmosis.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/09\/the-hedgehog-signaling-pathway.gif?w=1024\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2407\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.osmosis.org\/learn\/Inheritance_patterns\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Inheritance Patterns<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is an extremely visual topic that lots of different types of people often have to see to understand. I have yet to meet someone that has learned this concept by simply reading text with no pictures, so this video is awesome because of the reach it can have: helping families with genetic conditions and the healthcare workers who are taking care of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"640\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.osmosis.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/09\/inheritance-patterns.gif?w=1024\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2406\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.osmosis.org\/learn\/ECG_cardiac_infarction_and_ischemia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ECG Cardiac Infarction &amp; Ischemia<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My favorite thing about this entire series is how it combines the ECG findings with the physiology and pathophysiology. I chose this one in the series because the main reason that folks get an ECG clinically is to evaluate for evidence of a heart attack. This video spans from physiology to pathophysiology to the bedside in a really elegant way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"640\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.osmosis.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/09\/ecg-cardiac-infarction-ischemia.gif?w=1024\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2405\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>4.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.osmosis.org\/learn\/Endocarditis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Endocarditis<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This one is a classic because it ties together a bit of physics with disease. Specifically, why we see the leaflets get damaged the way they do is related to the Venturi effect. Moreover, it\u2019s a classic disease that is often on the differential of a fever without a clear source, so it\u2019s important to understand it through and through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"640\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.osmosis.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/09\/endocarditis.gif?w=1024\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2404\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>5.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.osmosis.org\/learn\/Kidney_countercurrent_multiplication\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kidney Countercurrent Multiplication<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a really tough concept\u2014the kidney is complex, and this specific concept is at the core of how it works. There\u2019s also a real elegance to how the kidneys work and that comes to life in this video.
