The nurse preparing to administer the medication reviews the prescription:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cCyclosporine 5 mg\/kg intravenously, infused over 3 hours.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The nurse must first draw up the appropriate dose from a vial containing 250 mg\/5 mL.
