Anal fissure

An anal fissure is a small cut or tears in the lining of the anus. The main symptom of an anal fissure is pain, which can be quite severe, especially during a bowel movement. Other symptoms may include bleeding from the rectum, itching, and feeling like having to go to the bathroom even when they don't. Anal fissures are more common in females and young adults but can occur at any age and with any gender.
