Emotion

Emotion is a feeling that is provoked by the experience of some situation or some object. The emotion may be positive or negative and it typically has a strong motivational component. For example, when people see someone they love, they feel a strong positive emotion that motivates them to approach and interact with the person. Conversely, when people see someone they hate, they feel a strong negative emotion that motivates them to avoid the person.
