Mamoona Khokhar, MD

Director of Clinical Curriculum

Dr. Mamoona Khokhar is an Endocrine Surgeon with a passion for medical education, who currently serves as the Clinical Medical Curriculum Lead at Osmosis. Dr. Khokhar completed a 7-year B.S./M.D program at The College of New Jersey and New Jersey Medical School. After finishing her General Surgery residency at The Alpert Medical School of Brown University and Endocrine Surgery fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center, she joined Banner University Medical Center Phoenix as an Assistant Professor of Surgery. During this time, she served as the Associate Surgery Clerkship Director at the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix. Dr. Khokhar is a passionate advocate for quality medical education. She has developed and executed numerous mentoring and education programs for medical students and residents. She has served on residency selection, clinical competency, surgery education, and clinical curriculum committees. As Osmosis’ Clinical Medical Curriculum Lead, she directs the development of the clinical curriculum and content and aims to empower Osmosis’ users with the best clinical learning experience possible. Mamoona loves spending time with her family and friends. She is an avid international traveler.
