A 30-year-old woman comes to the office for a follow-up for chronic knee pain. Over the past 6 months, she has been suffering from knee pain that has been progressively worsening. The patient discloses a dull pain, 3/10 around the right knee, and she did not notice any aggravating or alleviating factors. The pain sometimes awakens her from sleep. The patient has tried over the counter pain medication and multiple sessions of physiotherapy with minimal relief. Family history is negative for malignancy. Vital signs are within normal limits.
