An 8-month-old Caucasian infant is brought to the pediatrics PA’s office by his parents for evaluation of failure to thrive and persistent frothy stools. He was born at term with no antenatal or delivery problems. His parents and older brother are all healthy. The patient is below the 10th percentile for both height and weight.
