Meet the Osmosis Team: Marisa
Well, I saw that there was a video on youtube where osmosis was requesting video editors to come and work with them. And I saw it after I just graduated from college with a broadcasting degree.
And I was like, you know what I'm gonna apply, what's the worst that could happen? And the best thing happened, I got hired, I chose osmosis because I really liked the one on one feel I was getting from applying for the job.
I really liked meeting Tanner who was the voice of all the videos and seeing people behind the company itself. My favorite memory at osmosis is probably the first time we ever did osmosis cares.
And which is a, a thing where we all get to in the company, write nice things about other people. And I didn't think people had really noticed me because I hadn't been there for very long.
And I got so many nice things said about me. And II really felt like I was a big part of this company.
I think the approachability is the value that really resonates with me a lot because it can be daunting to be in a remote company.
And having to reach out to someone and you're nervous, you're not sure if you can do that. But once you reach out to anyone here, you really feel like you can talk to anyone.
Doesn't matter if they're the CEO or someone who got hired at the same time as you. And I really appreciate that.
I could bring three things knowing ahead of time, I'm on a deserted island. I would bring a knife, sandals with a really good sole on them and I would bring a hat.
My idea of desert islands is that they're rocky and sunny. So you gotta protect your face.
