Meet the Osmosis Team: Samantha

So I'm Samantha MC Bundy and my title is medical illustrator, video illustrator. Well, I was very lucky because uh Britney worked for osmosis at the time.
And Britney and I went to graduate school together. So I was working as a graphic designer, kind of waiting to jump into the medical illustration field and there wasn't really anything available where I was living in Buffalo and she texted me out of the blue and was like, I don't know what your work situation is right now.
But would you wanna come work for osmosis and almost knowing nothing else about it. I was like, yes, because I really wanted to use my skills in the field.
One thing that she just kept saying was like, everybody's amazing. Everybody's the nicest, everyone's so passionate, like you don't understand what it's like to work for these people.
Uh So she, she didn't have to, but she sold it really hard and it, it totally lived up to the, the high bar of expectations that she said uh maybe even exceeded it.
Uh So as muscles cares, is this basically like a just a spreadsheet of compliments um where people just take the time to write, you know, why they like working with you.
Um, things that they think you're really talented at just, you know, bring up memories of fun conversations, they've had it with you on one on ones or on slack and it's just like, so nice to feel like so many people, you know, not only like, remember you, even though we work remotely but genuinely, like, care about you and wanna make sure that, you know, these nice things about yourself.
It's just like the loveliest thing I've ever received as a gift. I would have to say start with the heart is like a big one for me.
Uh It's, I think it's just something I value as an employee. Like I get way more out of, you know, people telling me like, hey, you did like a really nice job or, you know, just people taking time out of their day to, you know, appreciate you and it's something I think everybody on our team does incredibly well.
So um it's, it's a big one for me. I really, really appreciate that.
My instinct would be like to be like, well, Aaron and my two dogs, but like, I don't want them to be marooned with me. That's actually like pretty selfish.
So I'm gonna mix that and I'm just gonna like, think entertainment wise, like, what would I need? My ukulele would be nice then I can just pretend I'm on vacation, right?
Like once you had introduce a ukulele into the situation, it, it really just lightens the mood. I've always move, meaning to read on a carana and it's crazy long.
Like, maybe that would be a good time to get that done. Maybe like a deck of cards or something.
Like so, like play a lot of games, like just with yourself. Stop by our careers page to learn how you can help us achieve our mission of empowering the world's clinicians and caregivers.
