General information

Leah Labranche, PhD, MSc, BSc(Hons)
Osmosis Faculty Reviewer
Leah Labranche is an Assistant Professor of Anatomy. Prior to teaching, she received her BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Guelph. She has always had a passion for education and teaching, and during her undergraduate career found a passion for human anatomy. She then pursued a Master’s degree in Clinical Anatomy from Western University. After earning her Master’s degree, she moved to the United States to teach anatomy full-time at an osteopathic medical school. Leah ultimately earned her PhD in Anatomy Education from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2020; completing a doctorate degree while teaching full-time and getting married halfway through was tough but rewarding! She was thrilled to join the Osmosis team as a Faculty Reviewer for anatomy content in the fall of 2020. In her (lack of) free time, Leah enjoys being outside in nature, taking walks around her neighborhood, and spending quality time with her husband and daughter.
