Senior Medical Content Manager

Dr. Rebecca Frontz is a full-time Senior Medical Content Manager at Osmosis from Elsevier, where she began as a writer in 2023. She completed her undergraduate studies at Cornell University and earned a Master of Science from Dartmouth College before receiving her medical degree from Rocky Vista University in 2012. Dr. Frontz went on to complete a pediatrics residency at the University of Connecticut and then practiced as a pediatric urgent care physician at Texas Children's Hospital, where her work on the leadership team ignited a passion for medical education. At Osmosis, she has contributed to various projects, including Clinical Sciences, Health Systems Sciences, and Topic Overviews. Drawing on her clinical expertise, Dr. Frontz translates complex health topics into clear, approachable content that learners can understand. In doing so, she helps advance the Osmosis mission of making high-quality medical education accessible to all. Having traded her stethoscope for a sailboat, Dr. Frontz now brings her clinical perspective and love of teaching to her work while sailing the world with her husband and their rescued island dog and cat, Bosun and Scupper.
