Katie has worked with Osmosis from Elsevier since 2021, serving as a video script writer, question writer, and subject matter expert. Prior to joining Osmosis, her clinical experience included labor, delivery, postpartum, newborn, and hospice care. She arrived at her nursing career in an intriguing way, first having obtained a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering at Oklahoma State University and working in that field briefly before returning to school to earn a Bachelor of Science in nursing at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. In addition to her work with Osmosis, Katie is currently a student at Texas Woman's University, where she is working towards earning a master's degree in nursing to pursue her long-time dream of becoming a family nurse practitioner.
