The 2024 study published in Applied Clinical Informatics evaluated four widely used platforms, including AMBOSS, ISABEL, Medscape, and Osmosis, to assess how effectively they support just-in-time learning using the Mobile App Rubric for Learning (MARuL).
The study found that Osmosis received the highest “Usefulness for Learning” score among the apps evaluated, and was also rated most positively for usability.
