Kristi Maynard has been a Registered Nurse since 2008 and a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2012. She completed her Ed.D. with a focus in Nursing Education in 2020 from Western Connecticut State University. She received her MSN from Fairfield University and her BSN from Mount Saint Mary College. Kristi's clinical background working as an RN was in critical care and cardiology. As a family nurse practitioner, her work has been focused on urgent and primary care. While Kristi still is active in practice, her primary role is as an Assistant Professor of Nursing at a State University in Connecticut. She teaches in the BSN and MSN programs of study. Kristi is passionate about developing educational resources to support diverse groups of learners and client populations. Kristi currently lives in Connecticut with her husband, two daughters, and dog. Kristi loves spending time with her family and friends at the beach, reading, and exploring new places.
