We’re sharing the latest updates on all things Osmosis.org in 2026. Check back monthly to see what’s been updated as new features, content, and improvements are released to support learners across the Osmosis.org healthcare learning platform.

To catch you up on the latest updates, we spent 2025 adding new learning content to Osmosis, making key platform improvements, and developing tools designed to support our learners. December updates included a variety of Study Schedule enhancements, including new badges for milestones like creating a schedule and completing tasks on time. Learners can also turn playlists into Study Schedules, while faculty can assign schedules and learners can share them with classmates.

January 2026: DO Content Updates for COMLEX-USA Blueprint

We updated our DO content to align with the NBOME’s 2025 shift to the COMLEX-USA Blueprint, ensuring learners preparing for COMLEX-USA exams have access to material that reflects the latest changes.

February 2026: The MD Release of Osmosis AI

We overjoyed to introduced Osmosis AI, our new conversational study companion built directly into the Osmosis platform to help our learners review topics, explore concepts, and find relevant learning resources within the Osmosis platform.

April 2026: Osmosis AI Expands to DO, PA, and Health Professions Products

April ushered in an expansion of Osmosis AI to support other health professions learners, including DO, PA, and Health Professionals. Osmosis AI is the new, built-in Osmosis study companion that combines trusted Elsevier content, conversational AI, and Osmosis’ visual learning approach to help our learners can ask questions and get answers without leaving their workflow.

DO, PA, and Health Professional subscribers can use Osmosis AI to:

  • Get fast, reliable explanations for complex medical topics
  • Link directly to relevant Osmosis videos
  • Ask follow-up questions to go deeper into a topic
  • Create flashcards, summaries, and practice questions

May 2026: Release of Osmosis Nursing Practice Readiness Series

Osmosis has added a new Nursing Practice Readiness Series! This new collection of foundational nursing videos is designed to support nursing students developing their clinical judgment, professional identity, and effective learning strategies for real-world nursing practice. The new series focuses on essential, cross-cutting skills that go beyond memorization, including prioritization, patient safety, study strategies, and understanding how nursing is practiced across care settings.

Content includes:

  • Nursing Student Success: study techniques, note-taking, test-taking strategies, and clinical preparedness
  • Clinical Decision Making (RN-focused): nursing process, clinical judgment, prioritization, safety, and core patient-care frameworks
  • Role of the Nurse: care delivery across hospitals, clinics, long-term care, home health, mental health, and community settings

Integrated across our nursing content, this new series makes it easy for Osmosis nursing learners to access these essential skills throughout their educational journey. We hope you find this new content helpful. Let us know your thoughts!
